This course is needed for Intermediate certification for police officers, communications personnel and certified jailers as well as a mandated continuing education course. It is designed for the law enforcement officer, jailers and communications personnel to better understand the different cultures in our society. Students will also increase their awareness of the various cultures and the difference they play in police professionalism. All law enforcement officers must complete this course between September 1, 2005 and August 31, 2009 to meet TCLEOSE requirements for this training session.
